Adverse Weather Conditions

In the event of severe weather, if you are unsure whether the Academy will be open, please check the following:

• Academy Website: Visit www.oaklandsprimary.com. If the Academy is closed, a message will be posted on the homepage after 7:30am.
• Arbor Parent Mail: A ParentMail message will be sent only if the Academy is closed.

If the Academy remains open during snowy or icy conditions, please ensure your child is appropriately dressed for the weather. Children should have:

• Wellington boots
• Gloves
• Warm, waterproof clothing

Please note that pupils will not be allowed to play on the field without suitable footwear and outdoor clothing.

Thank you for your co-operation and support in helping us keep all pupils safe and comfortable during winter weather.
